The SXPJ series HID & CFL fixture is built upon the standard for explosion proof lighting in the offshore drilling industry set by the original SXP series. It is also commonly used on land rigs, in refineries, chemical plants, waste water treatment facilities, and any other area where protection is needed from explosive gasses, dusts and fibers. This versatile fixture is also approved for use in areas where salt water spray and chemicals may be a factor.

Constructed of copper free cast aluminum, with a corrosion resistant baked on powder epoxy finish, this fixture also features external stainless steel hardware and available stainless wire guards.
